*Sigh*

What a beautiful day. Slept in a bit, finally. Also had weekly weigh in - 109.5. Better, since I dropped to 108 when I went to DC. Anyhow. I made myself this lovely brekkie:

Giant cup of chai tea, activia yogurt, and a toasted english muffin slathered with cashew butter, homemade apricot jam, and butter. I also drank a shitload of water, as usual.

Food porn, much? Mhm.

Also, note the mug? I MADE THAT SUCKER. That's right. At Petroglyph last weekend. And I love it. You know why? Because it loves me back.

After noshing, I went for a neighborhood walk. It was raining, so I got to spin my Monet umbrella around (not pictured - sorry!). The world is so beautiful when it rains.

I've decided I'm going to live in this house when I get old and filthy rich.

After my nature excursion, I wasted time around the house waiting for the boyfriend to arrive. And ate lunch. Nom.

Toasted cheddar and chicken sandwich, Stacy's pita chips (LOVE), and a Cocoa Bella chocolate from my sampler box. (It tasted like a wine flavor. Very good)

Boyfriend and I spent the afternoon at the house and Santana Row (activities not pictured...for good reason ;]) When he left, it was nearly dinnertime so I had a small snack.

365 Organic Apple Bar. SO much better than Nutrigrain. Apologies to Nutrigrain fans.

As I said, dinner was to commence shortly. So I cooked up some Trader Joe's s S&S chicken, with a small salad topped with strawberries, walnuts, and raspberry vinaigrette.

All sizzly out of the oven. Silpat is God, btw. Get one. Now.

And, for dessert, my favorite Moose Munch ice cream. Very high cal to compensate for my light afternoon snacking. ED really hated me for this, of course, but I finished it anyhow =]

Delish.

I probably won't be able to post all my eats like this every day, just because of the amount of time involved (and school, etc). But I'll do my best to document what I can, with or without pictures. It's definitely been enlightening.
Off to go do homework, now.

Morgan out.

Hey Morgan! I saw your post on CC - welcome to blogland! It's funny, you have the same layout as me! I've had a recovery blog for about 4 months now and it's helped me SO much. Hope you find the same sort of thing with yours - your food looks lovely btw! xxxx

Hey there! Phew. I don't feel so alone anymore =]

Thank you for the compliments on my foodage! I'm still getting the hang of my camera atm, but I think I'm starting to like it. Also needing to work on upping the calories, for sure.

Hmm. I've never had a blog before, but I can already tell this is going to be a great outlet =]

Protip: Don't weigh yourself daily if you are! And if you've only recently started upping your food intake don't weigh for two weeks. :] Fluctuations happen a lot during that time and they're inaccurate (and often upsetting). Your food looks yummy, though.

This is Lala, as an aside!

Becca - Thankies! Are you addicted to blogging yet? I think I am o.O

Ellie - I've actually been in recovery for over a year now, up from the low 90's (ew). Definitely sound advice, though...the first night I was hospitalized I gained 4lbs literally overnight from all the food/liquids they pumped into me. Terrible, terrible experience. Have since learned that weekly weighing is key! I've been averaging 2000-2200 calories recently, and slowly upping to 2500 to put the last few pounds on.

Wow. I wrote you a novel there. Apologies! But yes, the food was yummy =]

Thanks so much for the almond milk suggestion on Becca's blog. :D I will definitely look for that in the future. I'm also going to look for that Moose Munch Ice Cream, not just because I adore moose, haha! It looks really yummy.

I absolutely love your pictures- your future house is so pretty! :) I'm a huge chai tea fan! (It's my weakness!)
